I’m a certified K-5 teacher who prioritizes “bringing the world to every kid’s classroom and home.” I own and run my own microschool in Denver and explore the world once a year. I’m piloting an online program for students K-12 where they will virtually travel with me as I mosey through West Africa. I’m looking for students, teachers, classes, and families to try my program for FREE in exchange for constructive feedback. The class will be live on June 20th and I start my 8-country trip on June 22.

—videos of cool things I see

—interviews with local folks

—touristy areas

—important to daily life but not “touristy”

—length of video? 2 minutes? 10?

—history or focus on modern life?

—expressive writing assignments (feedback from me or left open for parent/teacher)

—deeper dive assignments for independent research with “report back to your classmates”

—listening to student presentations based on independent research

—language lesson

This will be a membership-based program later. How much would your family/class pay for a monthly membership which includes assignment feedback and student cohorts where they converse with each other?
