Bringing the world to every kid's classroom and home

Happy March!

Spring is almost here and I’ve been busy busy! Running a microschool has been one of my greatest and most fulfilling career transitions. My three full-time students now have 3 new once-a-week friends to learn and grow with. I’m honored that folks trust me to teach their littles.

Incredible news! Global Ex Academy is now approved for FREE homeschool enrichment starting in the fall! We will be offering art, art/Spanish hybrid, Tai Chi, expressive writing, Global Ex Project-Based Learning, “Bring Your Own Curriculum” vibe hub, and Kindergarten Plus! This is a state-funded program for K-12 students.

Consider stopping by and seeing the Global Ex magic. One of my first grade kiddos is reading full sentences after having a rough time with letter recognition at her old school. And another is working on speed and fluency in both multiplication and reading. We are also gearing up for our first piano recital and Global Ex Showcase!

Growing Denver’s newest K-5 microschool and homeschool hub is where all of my attention goes. I’ll be sharing frequently asked questions regarding the microschool life and structure. If you’ve got a question you would like me to answer, feel free to message me and you’ll probably see a response in a future newsletter.

To donate books:

  1. Click on this link https://www.righteousproject.org/global-ex-education which notifies us that you want to make a tax-deductible donation for Dr. J’s multilingual kids books.
  2. Decide what you want to give. $10 gets a kid a book. Give $1. Give $1,000,000.
  3. Want the book to go to a specific school, organization, teacher, principal, community leader, hospital, foster parent…? Write in the “Gift Recipient Notes” section above the purple “Donate” button. We will notify you when books are dropped off to them.
  4. Click the “Donate” button to finalize your donation on the secure link.

Wallah!

If your book gift recipient is in the Denver Metro area, I’ll personally drop autographed copies off and may even be able to do an author-signing with the littles. If the recipient doesn’t live in Denver, Global Ex will cover shipping up to $10 for each donation.

Thanks Billy and The Righteous Project!

I’m piloting an online program for students K-12 where they will virtually travel with me as I mosey through West Africa. I’m looking for students, teachers, classes, and families to try my program for FREE in exchange for constructive feedback. The class will be live on June 20th and I start my 8-country...
