Happy March!
April showers bring… new kiddos! We have 4 new squirrely kiddos joining us once a week now and our one-room school house is teeming with energy and learning. Microschooling is quickly becoming my favorite thing and our students are growing everyday. I saw huge gains in math understanding of my first-grader today who figured out how to make equivalent number sentences: 4+9 = 7+____? Just a few weeks ago, using blocks to add was a huge teary challenge..and now look at K go!
Global Ex Academy founder Dr. Jenaya Perdue (me!!) was featured on a podcast with Marpessa Allen at You Be You Early Learning! I feel a little bit famous. We chatted on choosing the best learning environment for your kiddo, meaningful ways to introduce your kiddo to the world, and why the microschool instead of traditional programs. Check it out and let me know what you think! If you’ve got a question, send it to me and I’ll be sure to answer back personally or in a future newsletter.

This is a state-funded program for K-12 students.

Growing Denver’s newest K-5 microschool and homeschool hub is where all of my attention goes. I’ll be sharing frequently asked questions regarding the microschool life and structure. If you’ve got a question you would like me to answer, feel free to message me and you’ll probably see a response in a future newsletter.
